A bit of a personal interest.
For some time now I have been involved in organising street protest against the attempts of my government (Germany) to put the outcome of the current economic cisis onto the shoulders of those who can bear it the least, notably the unemployed, those with small incomes, children, migrant workers and students.
The economic crisis is far from over and we are only just beginning to feel its results. So the struggle continues, every day.

Childabuse is one of the most serious crimes and something we should take more care of. This group wants to raise the Awareness for this urgent topic. I live in Austria and I'm really shocked every day when i switch on the news/read the newspaper and everyday the number of victims is growing. I wrote a short article about the current situation and i hope this will ring a bell to some of you.
Child Abuse Situation in Austria

3 Priests of the Catholic Church in Austria had to be removed from the institution. Two got "fired" and the other one could withstand the public pressure. Every day new shocking details are shown in the media.
The Catholic Church is trying to give us the feeling that they are doing all they can do but they will not look for other victims, due to lack of staff. They will wait until other victims contact them.
