I remember seeing trees like this growing wild on a forest trail behind my grandparent's house and I must say they are a thing of beauty that this picture does a good job of portraying.
By only having a slight sliver of the trunk within the frame of view I think you really allow the viewer's imagination to play with exactly how tall this tree really is.
The branches and the leaves beyond the main focus add a contrast in green shades that is very nice.
Overall I think that this picture feels very natural and exudes a certain loveliness because of it.
